LEGAL & PRIVACY DISCLOSURE

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 2, 2026. Your privacy and data protection are core to our architecture.

Our Core Guarantee: 100% Client-Side Image Privacy

At ImageMeasure AI, your uploaded images, technical drawings, and photographs are processed exclusively inside your web browser using client-side HTML5 Canvas technology. We never transmit, upload, store, or analyze your media on any remote server.

1. Overview & Commitment to Transparency

This Privacy Policy explains how ImageMeasure AI ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you visit and use our website at https://imagemeasurementai.com (the "Site"). We are committed to protecting your personal privacy while delivering robust web tools.

By accessing or using ImageMeasure AI, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of our Site.

2. Image Data Processing & Zero Server Upload Policy

Unlike traditional cloud applications, ImageMeasure AI operates entirely as a browser-native web application:

  • Local In-Memory Canvas: When you open or drag-and-drop an image file into our workspace, the file is read directly by your browser's local JavaScript environment (`FileReader` API) and rendered onto an HTML5 <canvas> element.
  • No Cloud Storage: No binary image data, pixel matrices, annotations, or measurement coordinate datasets are sent across the internet to our servers or any third-party storage providers.
  • Session Ephemerality: Closing or refreshing your browser window clears all temporary image data from system memory.

3. Information We Collect

While we do not collect or view your images, we may receive standard web data when you access our Site:

A. Automated Usage & Web Log Data

Like most standard website servers, our hosting infrastructure automatically collects anonymous browser log data when you load pages. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, timestamp, and requested pages. This information is used strictly for server diagnostics, security monitoring, and maintaining site availability.

B. Local Storage Preferences

We store lightweight configuration preferences in your browser's `localStorage` (such as your preferred UI theme: light or dark mode). Local storage data remains on your physical device and is never synchronized to cloud servers.

C. Direct Communications

If you contact us directly via our Contact Us page or via email at support@imagemeasurementai.com, we receive the information you choose to provide (such as your name, email address, message subject, and content). We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.

4. Third-Party Advertising & Google AdSense Disclosures

To keep ImageMeasure AI 100% free for users around the world, we display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. Google and other advertising partners use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your visit to our Site and other sites on the Internet.

Important Disclosures regarding Google AdSense:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

5. Analytics & Performance Cookies

We may use web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to aggregate statistical reports about general traffic trends, audience demographics, and device compatibility. These analytics services set cookies to measure how users interact with our Site content.

Analytics data is aggregated anonymously and does not contain personally identifiable information. You can block or remove analytics cookies through your browser settings or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. GDPR & CCPA Data Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you possess specific legal rights regarding your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA):
